The central scene represents the triumph of Neptune and Amphitrite, his wife, sailing the sea in a shell pulled by two horses. At the feet of the main figures, a child and a merman. According to Alexius Feit, the engraving on which this scene is inspired is published in 1625 by Vincenzo Cartari within the work “Le imagini de i dei degli antichi”.

The wing of the plate has the typical Berain style lace.
