Bust: Fernando VII

ALCORA

1820-1830

Small figure representing Fernando VII with the Golden Fleece and the main decorations he held. Circular base with various lines of pearls in relief of different sizes and colors. Apparently, after a trip by the monarch to Valencia in 1814, after the end of the Napoleonic occupation, this type of representation became popular, when the king was still called “the Desired One” and before the “Ominous Decade” (1823-1833).
