Within the decoration in golden reflection that became popular in the early XIX century, one of the most outstanding ornamental motifs is a cartouche formed by scrolls or scrolls combined with fine floral garlands. East sugar bowl has in the body and the cover two of these borders, which appear also in other pieces of the Torrecid Collection. The decoration is complete with discreet golden profiles and two embossed masks in the container of the sugar bowl.

Oblong tray decorated with intaglio printing in gold reflection. In the solero, a port scene with double profiling (thick and fine). On the wing, irregular (non-rhythmic) alternation of children’s play scenes, architectures and tree. On the base, brand A painted in the same reflection tone Golden.

The golden yellowish reflection appeared in the Royal Factory at the end of the 18th century and became popular in the first decades of the following century, applied above all to simple forms of tableware and coffee or tea sets. This teapot with lid features a neoclassical border very common in this type of object on the lid and the top of the container, in addition to various profiles and the characteristic brand (A) painted on the base in the same tone as the rest of the decor.

Coffee pot with decoration belonging to the style called “golden reflection”. As corresponds to the neoclassical period of the Royal Factory, the ornamentation becomes scarcer, leaving a large part of the pieces with the brilliant white of the roof. In this case, both the lid and the upper part of the container are decorated with neoclassical borders attributed to Vicente Álvaro Ferrando. Like almost all the pieces in this series, it has the A mark painted in gold on the base.
