White faience. Same genre as the lion devouring a horse, on a circular base with pearl finish typically used in the last decade of the 18th century.

Representation of spring. Alcora moulded piece from the late 18th century. One of a four-piece set representing the seasons. Very late date indicated by the incised seal on the inside of the bottom of the piece.

Representation of autumn. Alcora mould from the end of the 18th century. The piece is one of the four seasons. Very late date, on the basis of the incised seal on the inside of the base.

Along with numbers 137, 140 and 150 of this Collection, forms a complete set representing the four seasons. The original mould was from Alcora but the piece itself was manufactured elsewhere at an unidentified factory, as indicated by the seal on the inside of the base.
